Got a great recipe for chili? Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 1, starting at 2:00 pm, at the Clubhouse, for the official CHA Chili Cookoff.
Bring your favorite chili to compete, or simply come to taste all the different varieties. Bring a side dish and your preferred beverage. All members and guests are welcome.
All members, are invited to attend the monthly CHA board of directors meeting
on Saturday 9-10 at 10:00am at the clubhouse or via zoom. The TENTATIVE agenda is attached below.
In addition we will be having a volunteer worker bee afterwards to repair the playground swing set, mount the new AED machine in the clubhouse and deal with a few other items that could use attention. Everyone is welcome to come and help out. Kevin Sauvage has promised to make brats and dogs for anyone who works!

After collecting your suggestions, the Board plans to send out a survey to gauge the membership’s interest in each.
Join Lynn Livingston on Thursday, August 18, at 1:30 pm at the Clubhouse to walk the subdivision and tag any invasive plant species. These plants will be marked for later removal.

Join us on Tuesday, August 2, at 10:00 am for a work bee at Central Park. We will be removing spotted knapweed, an invasive species. Dress appropriately, bring a bottle of water, and definitely bring gloves. The rain date is August 3, 10:00 am.
We expect to work for 1 – 1.5 hours.
Poison Ivy along our roadsides was a topic of conversation at the July 2022 CHA board meeting. The board is asking that all property owns remove or kill any poison ivy on their properties at the road edge. This is especially important for the area that is mowed so that chopped up poison ivy isn’t spread.
Also, thanks to Lynn Livingston for putting together a document showing the invasive plant species in CHA that we should all be working to eradicate. The document, which is available under Resources/Documents (or by clicking here), includes pictures (so you know what to look for) and steps to take to remove or destroy the plants.
