Melissa VanDam, CHA Board Vice President, is putting together a list of members needing tree work done with the hope that a discount might be negotiated with one of the local tree companies. For instance, if we had 10 members needing work done, that might entice a tree company to offer a discount to those members if the work happened all at once.

Amy Harrison at 13456 N Forest Beach Shores had kindly provided a table of free items for our neighbors to take if they had a need. Unfortunately, someone thought the table that all the free items were displayed on was free as well; this was not the case. Amy is asking for the table to be returned as soon as possible. Thank you to everyone who participated, in-person or remotely, in our annual meeting on May 27. Voter turnout was high with 72% of the eligible lots voting.

Again, thanks for voting and attending the meeting. And a special thanks to our outside guest vote counters from the Northport community who helped us certify the election.
Join us on Sunday, May 28, at 1:00 pm for the BBQ and Potluck Picnic.
The CHA annual meeting will be held Saturday May 27th 10:00am at the CHA clubhouse. This will be both an in person meeting and also be available via Zoom.
Weather permitting the meeting will be conducted outside on the front lawn, so bring your lawn chairs or blankets for sitting.
Ballots for the election of Directors will be accepted until 15 minutes past the hour. If you are attending in person make sure you check in at the desk so we can include you in the quorum count.
Zoom attendees cannot vote so make sure your ballot has been mailed in or carried in by your proxy, if you intend to participate by zoom.
The board members and various committee members will make their reports to the members.
All members will be given a chance to comment or ask questions at the meeting.
If attending in person please try to arrive a few moments early so the volunteers can get you checked in.
The ballots will be counted while the meeting occurs. If the meeting ends before ballot counting is completed, the results will be posted on the kiosks and communicated via zoom to all members.
