On Wednesday, August 19 at 4:00 pm, there will be an event at the CHA Clubhouse focused on Woolsey Memorial Airport. Cliff Hale, a former pilot who used the airport, will speak about Clinton Woolsey and the airport’s history. Mark Krueger will speak about the structural renovations, completed and forthcoming. Wendy Bice will update us on the grants and funding for the project. At the end, we will sample “Woolsey Red”, a special wine that was created by Dune Bird Winery as a fundraiser for the airport renovation. $2.00 from the sale of every bottle goes to help finance the airport project. (State laws prohibit us from selling the wine.)
